<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of performing fine adjustment of a signal pressure when starting the fuel cell system under an environment of low temperature by preventing freezing of residual water at a signal pressure line. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a cathode pressure adjusting means adjusting the pressure of a cathode in compliance with the operation state of the fuel cell; a regulator, to which an air pressure supplied from an oxidant gas supplying means is impressed as a signal pressure, adjusting the supplying pressure to an anode depending on the signal pressure; and a scavenging means scavenging the signal pressure line by scavenging gas, through which the air impressing the signal pressure to the regulator flows, when the fuel cell stops power generation or after the power generation is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
