Case for the transport of food products comprises two separate parts including (a) a carrier structure with four carrier columns connected by ten horizontal ribs situated on the sides, and four ribs situated on the bottom, eight vertical ribs being placed on the four sides, two horizontal secondary ribs being placed on the large sides, and a series of flat vertical plates being distributed over the two large sides to form several windows with the horizontal secondary ribs and the vertical ribs of the same side, while the ribs form grasping places for handling; and (b) an internal being of cardboard or a similar material for packaging the products. The carrier structure pref. consists of polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene. The case is especially useful for transporting fruit and vegetables. The cases are strong, easily handled, and can be safely stacked. |
