PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting base for an outdoor unit capable of quickly implementing an assembling work by stabilizing a fitting state of a ground member and a lower end portion of a stay. SOLUTION: First and second short stays 13, 14 are connected with one end portion of a base member main body 21 constituting first and second base members 11, 12, and a first ground member 15 is connected with lower end portions of the first and second short stays 13, 14. A fixed stay 41 constituting first and second long stays 16, 17 is connected with the other end portion of the base member main body 21, and a movable stay 42 is connected with a lower portion of the fixed stay 41 in such a state that its length is adjustable. A second ground member 18 is horizontally connected with a lower end portion of the movable stay 42. Recessed portions 13i fitted to a projecting portion 15b integrally formed on an upper face of the first ground member 15 from an upper portion, are formed on lower end portions of the first and second short stays 13, 14. A recessed portion 42g fitted to a projecting portion 18b formed on an upper face of the second ground member 18 from an upper portion, is formed on a lower end portion of the movable stay 42.
