PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Dither processing technology required for eliminating the use of a multi-bit digital-to-analog converter. SOLUTION: Linearization of a performance of an analog to digital converter (ADC) using a single-bit dither is performed. A dither is summed with an input signal to an ADC by passing a serial pseudo-random bitstream through an analog filter.
