PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator having a structure optimal for reduction of height. SOLUTION: The upper surface of a supporting substrate 1 and the lower surface of an IC 2 for oscillation are bonded by a sealing member 8 to form a sealed space 11 between the both, and a piezoelectric vibrating element 3 electrically connected with the IC 2 for oscillation is housed within the sealed space 11, thereby configuring the piezoelectric oscillator.
