PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation or slippage from occurring even when large tensile force acts on wire ropes after binding the intersection portions of the wire ropes, so as to reduce tightening torque required for pressing the wire ropes by binding clasps by bolts as much as possible. SOLUTION: A hardening binding agent 13 is provided between the wire ropes 2, 3 and rope fitting grooves 6, 7. The intersection portions of the wire ropes laid lengthwise and crosswise are held in the rope fitting grooves formed in mating faces of a pair of clasps. The rope fitting grooves 6, 7 include recesses 14 for storing the hardening binding agent at a portion thereof. It is possible to make the clasps fulfill desired bearing force against pulling out of the ropes due to the fixation force of the hardening binding agent. The control of the tightening torque of a screw member the accuracy of which is demanded is substantially eliminated, so that the labor of a worker who performs the tightening work is remarkably reduced.
