<p>There is described an electric connector (1) having an insulating casing (9) defining a seat for at least one electric terminal, and designed to mate with a complementary connecting member (2) along a longitudinal axis (A); and a retaining lever (18) projecting from the casing (9) and having at least one connecting portion (23) connected to the casing (9) to allow the retaining lever (18) to flex about a flex axis (B) crosswise to the longitudinal axis (A), and a coupling portion (21) designed to engage a catch portion (6) of the complementary connecting member (2); the retaining lever (18) also has release means (30) defining an actuating portion (37, 38) located on the opposite side of the flex axis (B) to the coupling portion (21), and which is activated by pressure to release the retaining lever (18) from the catch portion (6) of the complementary connecting member (2).</p> |
