<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave cycle calculator and its program to calculate a proper pulse wave cycle even in the presence of a noise or under partial exclusion of the pulse wave. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse wave calculator is equipped with a detector 20 to detect the pulse wave, a peak interval defining part 71 to determine the amplitude between one peak and the following peak detected by the detector 20, a range defining part 73 setting a specific range between the upper and lower limits to a standard cycle and a cycle calculator 74 calculating the peak interval as a pulse wave cycle when a defined peak interval by the peak interval defining part 71 belongs to a specific range set by the range defining part 73. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
