PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a device cost in an air conditioner provided with a gas injection circuit. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1, a gas-liquid separator 16 is connected from an outdoor heat exchanger 8 via a pipe 15, and an indoor heat exchanger 10 is connected from the gas-liquid separator 16 via a pipe 21. A check valve 17 is provided in the pipe 15, and a solenoid valve 22 is provided in the piping 21. A bypass circuit 25 is provided for bypassing from the pipe 15 to the pipe 21, and a refrigerant is circulated without going through the gas-liquid separator 16 during cooling operation.
