PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an alarm device cheap with less malfunction and visually deterrent effect by use of very simple method like detecting an abnormal state such as lifting of heavy load, dragging heavy load and cutting a cable by a pressure sensor. SOLUTION: The alarm device comprises a heavy load with a certain amount of weight, the pressure sensor mounted on at least one face of the heavy load, a cable for transmitting the output value of the pressure sensor, a storing means for storing the output value of the pressure sensor by the own weight of the heavy load, a comparative detection means for comparing the output of the pressure sensor stored in the storing means with the present output value of the pressure sensor and detecting the variation of the output value of the pressure sensor, and an informing means for informing the occurrence of the abnormal state when detecting the pressure variation of the pressure sensor by the comparative detection means.
