PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-free screw compressor self-cooling a compressor main body, a start board and an inside of a compressor unit and driving auxiliaries in the compressor unit by using heat energy discharged as waste heat. SOLUTION: The oil-free screw compressor comprises the compressor body 1 for compressing air in an unlubricated state, a thermoelectric conversion elements 12, 13 for thermoelectrically converting the waste heat generated in the compressor body 1 and a discharge pipe 8, a regulator 14 for voltage-converting electric power obtained by the thermoelectric conversion and cooling fans 10, 16 for cooling the compressor boy 1 or the inside of the compressor unit.
