PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purified water production method and apparatus which enable effective utilization of concentrated wastewater generated when purified water is prepared by using a reverse osmosis membrane, namely resource saving at the purified water preparation and quality improvement of the purified water. SOLUTION: The concentrated wastewater generated when obtaining the purified water by treating raw water with a reverse osmosis membrane is treated with a reverse osmosis membrane, and then mixed with the raw water to be recycled. The purified water production apparatus comprises a reverse osmosis membrane module 7 used for obtaining the purified water by treating the raw water, and a reverse osmosis membrane module 15 treating the concentrated wastewater generated in the reverse osmosis membrane module 7 to generate RO treated concentrated wastewater used for recycle.
