<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation sheet which shows optical characteristics required to enlarge a viewing angle, which is excellent in thin property when used together with a polarizing plate, and which has reduced fluctuation in Re and Rth, and to provide a polarizing plate having the optical compensation sheet excellent in the above characteristics, and to provide a liquid crystal display equipped with the polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The optical compensation sheet comprises a layered body of a polymer film and a polymer layer formed by coating, and satisfies conditions expressed by expressions (I):0≤Re(590)≤200 nm, (II):0≤Rth(590)≤400nm, (III):[ΔRe(590)/Re(590)ave]×100≤20% and (IV):[ΔRth(590)/Rth(590)ave]×100≤10.
