<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system capable of always maintaining an illuminating device in a conductive state and controlling the illuminating device on the basis of a control signal from a remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: The remote controller 1 for outputting a control signal to the illuminating device is provided with a power supplying part 4 for supplying the power to the illuminating device, an inputting part 8 for inputting an operation request to the illuminating device 3 and a transmitting part 7 for transmitting the control signal to the illuminating device 3 in accordance with an input from the inputting part 8.
