PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce color slurring by suppressing the amount of the thermal expansion of a color selection electrode while preventing the wrinkles or loosening of the color selection electrode applied with tension applied in one axial direction. SOLUTION: The color selection electrode 10 is formed with a non-through hole area 13 having many holes which do not penetrate both outsides of hole area 12 having many through holes. The non-through hole area 13 is formed with a first area 13a, a second area 13b and a third area 13c having effectual board thicknesses Ta, Tb and Tc (Tb>Ta, Tb>Tc) from the hole area 12 toward the end edge of the color selection electrode along a second direction perpendicular to a direction (first direction) in which tension is applied.
