PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakdown of a hinge part by preventing a large moment applied to the hinge part of a manual feed tray, in regard to an image forming device having a manual feed tray. SOLUTION: The manual feed tray 9 is provided with the hinge part 20 for turnably supporting the manual feed tray 9, an extension tray member 21, an auxiliary leg member 22 possible to be turned in relation to the extension tray member 21, an extension tray housing part 19, and a torsion coil spring 25 installed in a rotary shaft 24 of the auxiliary leg member 22. When the extension tray member 21 is drawn from the extension tray housing part 19, abutment of the auxiliary leg member 22 on a bottom plate 29 of the extension tray housing part 19 is released, and the auxiliary leg member 22 energized by the torsion coil spring 25 is turned till the auxiliary leg member 22 stands up in relation to the extension tray member 21, and the tip of the auxiliary leg member abuts on a loading surface T and supports the extension tray member 21.
