THIENOPYRROLE COMPOUNDS AND UTILIZATION THEREOF AS HCV POLYMERASE INHIBITOR

<p>A thienopyrrole compound represented by the general formula [I]: [I] wherein each symbol has the meaning as defined in the description; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a hepatitis C virus (HCV) polymerase inhibitor and a remedy for hepatitis C containing the compound as the active ingredient. Because of exerting an anti-HCV effect based on an effect of inhibiting HCV polymerase, the above compound is useful as a remedy or a preventive for hepatitis C.</p>
