The drive train has an exhaust-gas turbine (4) arranged in flow direction of exhaust gas behind another exhaust-gas turbine (3) and/or fresh air compressor in flow direction of fresh air (5) behind another compressor. The turbines are designed as radial-flow turbines such that inflow of the turbine (3) and outflow of the turbine (4) take place in radial direction, and the outflow of the turbine (3) and the inflow of the turbine (4) take place in axial direction of the respective turbine. Direction of inflow of the former compressor corresponds to direction of outflow of the latter compressor.
