PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrostatic bearing device, accurately supporting a shaft member with static pressure. SOLUTION: An annular support member 28 having a static pressure pocket 29 is disposed opposite to the outer periphery of a main shaft cylinder 23 as a cantilevered shaft member to be moved in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction. A clamping mechanism 35 for fixing the support member 28 in a required moving position support member 28 is provided, and the clamping mechanism 35 fixes the support member 28 with the main shaft cylinder 23 aligned with the support member 28.
