PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a new area for an FS when the area set for the FS is used up. SOLUTION: When an SRR#2 for the FS of areas B501 and B501' is filled up as shown in a central part of a figure 56, it is divided into an area consisting of areas B502, B503 and B502', an area consisting of an area B504, and an area consisting of an area B505 as shown in a lower part of the figure 56, and an SRR#4 and an SRR#5 are set newly as an area for the FS and an area for a file respectively.
