PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of improving airtightness by improving the structure of a gasket. SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises an electrode group 10 including a positive electrode 11, a negative electrode 12, and a separator 13 laminated interposed between the positive electrode 11 and the negative electrode 12, a case 20 in which the electrode group is built, a cap assembly 30 which covers and seals the case 20, and a gasket 31 installed between the case 20 and the cap assembly 30.
