Regenerated cellulose foil is coated with an aqueous plastics dispersion containing an aqueous lubricant dispersion of which the solid phase consists of 90-95% by weight of wax and/or paraffin and 5-10% of a mineral lubricant and of which the dispersant is water containing up to 20% by weight of a non-ionic emulsifier. The aqueous plastics suspension may contain up to 3% by weight (wax related to polymer) of the lubricant dispersion. The mineral lubricant may be silica, bentonite, powdered glass, talc, borium sulphate or magnesium carbonate. The plastics may be polyvinylidene chloride or copolymers thereof. |
