PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium selector which achieves the prevention of possible fraudulence or others by detecting the abnormality such as the invasion of an illegal gadget. SOLUTION: The wavelength of a full-color LED as the light source is varied to detect the game media by recognizing the corresponding wavelength depending on the voltage output of a photodetector 400. For example, when the light of green is emitted, the output voltage is given corresponding to the green and if the output voltage by which the red is recognized is given, a controller 942 judges that it is the abnormality.
