<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire allowing a shape having excellent fanciness to be provided while reducing power consumption and a heat value. <P>SOLUTION: This luminaire includes: a luminaire body 1 having a fluorescent lamp and a lighting circuit; a light emitting diode incorporation unit 4 equipped with a plurality of light emitting diodes 5 and mounted by surrounding the luminaire body 1; and a cover 3 mounted to the luminaire body 1 and covering the fluorescent lamp 2.
