PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatograph and an analysis method with the gas chromatograph capable of detecting a trace amount of hazardous material or the like existing in washing liquid after washing the hazardous material. SOLUTION: A sample injection part 10 is equipped with a sample injection part body 21; a sample insertion tube 24 disposed in the sample injection part body 21, equipped with a carrier gas introduction tube 23 for introducing carrier gas 22, and communicated with a separation column 11, for storing a sample 13 injected inside; a heating device 25 for heating the sample injection part body 21; a vaporized gas discharge part 27 formed on the sample insertion tube 24, for discharging vaporized gas 26 vaporized by heating by the heating device 25 from the sample insertion tube 24; and a discharge pipe 28 provided on the sample injection part body 21, for discharging the vaporized gas 26 to the outside.
