PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport container for cuttings, having a bottom and perpendicular side-walls which can hold a receptacle into which the cuttings have been put. SOLUTION: The height of the sidewalls is made to be the height such that the upper edges of the sidewalls can exceed the upper edges of the cuttings.
