Disclosed is a thermoplastic resin composition wherein inorganic particles are dispersed in a resin matrix. The thermoplastic resin composition is characterized in that the refractive index of the inorganic particles is within a range of 1.3-2.3, and the resin composition has a light transmittance of not less than 70% per 3 mm of optical path length and a linear expansion coefficient of not more than 5 × 10<SUP>-5</SUP> (/°C).
