<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior method for performing clock synchronization between an automatic testing device and a device to be measured. <P>SOLUTION: The method according to the present invention relates to source synchronous sampling for making a first clock signal CLK1 of a first unit 210 synchronize to a data signal D1 received from a second unit 100, and includes the step of measuring phase difference between the first clock signal CLK1 and a second signal DCLK, the step of generating a responding timing control signal PDS, the step of generating an adjusted clock signal ACLK1 by adjusting the first clock signal CLK1 in response to the timing control signal PDS, and the step of generating data D1' to be sampled by using the adjusted clock signal ACLK1 for sampling the received data signal D1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
