<p>PURPOSE:To attain to increase treatment capacity by shortening a heating time, by providing an electric induction heating coil to the heating region of a heat treatment furnace provided with a heating region, a soaking region and a cooling zone in opposed relation to said heating region. CONSTITUTION:A strip heat treatment furnace is constituted by successively providing a heating region A, a soaking region B and a cooling region C in a communicated state and electric induction heating coils 3, 3 are provided so as to be opposed to the aforementioned heating region A. By the above-mentioned treating furnace, a strip is rapidly heated by the excess current of the coils 3 when passed through the heating region A. Therefore, a heating time is shortened and treatment capacity is increased.</p> |
