<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a vehicle capable of easily taking load in and out of a glove box. <P>SOLUTION: This locking device 36 of the vehicle supporting one end of a lid plate 33 covering an opening 32 of a luggage compartment 29 openably and closably to turn it freely and constituting the lid plate 33 so as to engage and disengage freely in a closed condition and an opened condition is composed of a striker 38 provided in the opening of the luggage compartment 29, a lock knob 40 provided on a free end side of the lid plate 33 and supported turnably on the lid plate 33 through a lock knob turning shaft 39, a slide link 41 provided on the opposite side to the lock knob 40 across the lock knob turning shaft 39, and a lock link 42 provided with a lock claw part 44 which is outward extended toward the slide link 41 of the lock knob 40 from a lock shaft 43 provided inside the luggage compartment 29 on the opposite side to the lock knob 40 across the striker 38, whose free end part is formed to engage with the slide link 41, and which is formed to engage with and disengage from the striker 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
