SEPARATION METHOD BY SELECTIVE ADSORPTION USING SOLID CONTAINING ZEOLITE HAVING CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE OF IM-12 OR ITS ANALOGOUS CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption/separation method using as an adsorbent mass a solid containing zeolite having a structure of IM-12 or its analogous structure.

SOLUTION: This method for adsorbing/separating a certain molecular radical from a mixture containing the certain molecular radical and other molecular radicals by optional ratios comprises a step of bringing the mixture into contact with a solid absorbent. The solid adsorbent contains the solid having the crystalline structure of IM-12 or its analogous crystalline structure and the chemical composition shown by the chemical formula: XO2:mYO2:pZ2O3:qR2/nO (wherein R is an n-valent cation and n is 1 or a larger integer; Y is germanium; Z is at least one trivalent element) when shown as an anhydride by molar ratios of oxides.
