<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Bi<SB>12</SB>MO<SB>20</SB>sintered material (wherein, M is at least one kind of Ge, Si, and Ti) almost free from crystal defects and having high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: When the Bi<SB>12</SB>MO<SB>20</SB>sintered material for constituting a radiation imaging panel, capable of recording radiation image information as an electrostatic latent image, is produced, sintering is performed in an inert gas atmosphere. Alternatively, the sintering is performed at a sintering temperature falling within the range of 800 to 900 °C and in an atmosphere in which the oxygen partial pressure P<SB>O2</SB>(Pa) satisfies the condition: 10<SP>-3</SP>≤P<SB>O2</SB>≤10<SP>-1</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
