<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of displaying a white color with high luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus of the invention has a transparent substrate 101 on which pixels are provided on a surface. The pixel which is provided on the transparent substrate 101 is constituted with three sub-pixels and a color filter 106 is provided in each of the three sub-pixels.
