<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument having a daisy-shaped cantilever wheel capable of facilitating the setting of a measuring head or a modifying head by rotating a daisy-shaped cantilever wheel structure to enable modification using centrifugal force, the adhesion of a sample and the application of force to the sample and capable of easily measuring a change in the natural vibration frequency or amplitude of a cantilever array. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring instrument having the daisy-shaped cantilever wheel is equipped with a disc-shaped substrate 1, a plurality of cantilever arrays 3 arranged so that the longitudinal axes of them is allowed to coincide with the radial direction of the disc-shaped substrate 1, the rotary means of the disc-shaped substrate 1 having the cantilever arrays 3, a positioning device of the cantilever arrays 3 and the optical measuring head 7 arranged at the position corresponding to the cantilever arrays 3 to measure the motion of the cantilevers 2 and a change in the frequency or amplitude of the cantilevers 2 is successively measured accompanied by the rotation of the disc-shaped substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
