The method involves forming a weld type metallic surfacing (9) in a zone (4) on a side of a thin metallic structure (5) by laser beam, where the metallic surfacing is disposed along cords (10A-10D). The metallic surfacing is constituted of a material e.g. stainless steel, whose mechanical characteristics are superior to that of the material e.g. stellite, constituting the thin metallic structure. An independent claim is also included for a thin metallic structure. |
