PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio device that can reduce interaction with a human body having been caused in a conventional antenna so as to make stable communication. SOLUTION: The portable radio device comprises a 1st device body provided with a speaker, a 2nd device body provided with an antenna, and a turning mechanism that interconnects the 1st and 2nd device bodies and axis-supports the 1st device body or the 2nd device body freely turnably in a fan-like motion and the antenna is positioned at an upper end of the 2nd device body.
