PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for treatment of wastewater are provided to attain stable and acceptable processed water by supplying an active microorganism from a utricle microorganism supporting material on an adhesive fixing material and maintaining a high microorganism concentration. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treatment of wastewater comprises a utricle microorganism supporting material(14) and an adhesive fixing material(16). The utricle microorganism supporting material proliferates a microorganism into wastewater. The adhesive fixing material adhesively proliferates the microorganism from inside of supporting material of the utricle microorganism supporting material to the outside of the supporting material. The area ratio of the utricle microorganism supporting material to the adhesive immobilized material is 1/10 - 1/5. A substrate is one or more of inorganic ammonia, nitrous acid, nitric acid, organic compounds, PCB, dioxin, and environmental hormones. |
