A mechanism for producing metallic titanium contains retort with flange and cover which is disposed in the` heating furnace, reaction chamber with theflange on the upper edge and bottom which is fixed on the retort cover and deepened therein. The retort cover has from above the cylindrical shell theflange on upper edge, and the reaction chamber has cover with flange, at that the reaction chamber flange is fixed between tightly connected flanges of reaction chamber cover and cylindrical shell of the retort cover.
