INSERTING SELF-WEDGED ELEMENT

The inserting self-wedged element contains two or several pairs of the segments located in two parallel axles passing through the openings in the head disposed between the segments. The working surfaces of the segments are designed as Archimedes spiral with the angle of rotation for each segment exceeding 90 DEGREE . The low surface of the segments has the additional recesses. The distance between the axles passed in the head with the groove and the tie-rod is selected providing that the arm ratio from the point of segment attachment to the point of support and from the point of the attachment to the end of the segment is constant.
