The invention relates to arc plasma reactors for simultaneously melting high-melting metal and non-metal materials and fumes, mainly special-purpose artificial cementing clinkers exhibiting a high melting viscosity and associated non-ferrous metals and can be used for the cement, chemical and metallurgical industries. Said invention makes it possible to substantially increase the operational reliability and service life of electrodes (rate of use and a continuous operating length of a plant in whole) by the partial immersion thereof into the melt and the resistance of a partition by the refrigeration thereof with the aid of a raw material and by additional kish formation in the form of conical slopes on a heel of metal boundaries, to increase the reactor performance, improve a final product quality, reduce energy consumption and to simplify the reactor structural design. The inventive plasma reactor-separator for simultaneously producing the melt of high-melting metal and non-metal materials and fumes comprises a longitudinal hollow partition which is refrigerated from the inside thereof by a raw material, divides a chamber into two equal parts along the entire length thereof, is provided with horizontal slit-type openings for material discharging and for additional kish formation in the form of conical slopes on a heel of metal boundaries, wherein said reactor also comprises hollow stick electrodes whose lower ends are introduced in the melt, the partition is provided with an arc hole which is arranged on the melt surface and makes it possible to rotate the above on a horizontal plane for removing a solid raw material from under the electrode and for moving said material in the arcing area. |
