<p>At least one surface of a semi-conductor is coated with polymer dielectric by interaction of an ionizing discharge with the surface in the presence of an unsaturated hydrocarbon in the vapour phase. Specifically the hydrocarbon may be toluene, or may be butadiene, the discharge may be continuous, with the surface to be coated as the cathode.</p> |
