<p>Hosier articles are cut with a circular saw which is heated to a temp. that is controllable at will. Pref. during cutting, the knitted fabric is firmly held on either side of the line of cut. The fabric is placed on a profiled former. At least one saw can reciprocate. Pincers cooperate with the form to hold the fabric. The form has a groove for passage of the saw, which is moved by a ram piston.</p> |
