Method and apparatus for acquisition of objects

The method involves a recoding element in a fixed position receiving radiation emanating from the background (1) and from an object (2), which is compared with a reference object after acquisition. A first image of the background is acquired and stored, the recording element (3) is replaced, a further image of the background is acquired, the data of the further and original images are compared and the recording element is adjusted until the data of the two images differ by a maximum tolerance value. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for detecting objects.
