Vehicle suspension with an artifical muscle

The wheel suspension (1) has a wheel carrier (2) for retaining the wheels (3). An artificial muscle (4) is provided for activating the movement of the wheel and for changing wheel position. The wheel suspension also has a spring strut (6) which has a spring (7) and an absorber (8) firmly connected to the wheel carrier. An independent claim is also included for changing the characteristic of the wheel suspension.
