A method for lining a well using expandable tubulars comprising the steps of, lowering an expandable tubular (fig.2A, 21) into a wellbore (fig.2A, 20), pumping a cement composition 232 into the annulus formed between the wall of the borehole and the tubular, pumping a fluid sealant 233 into the annulus directly after the cement 232, letting the sealant 233 solidify into a deformable matrix embedding the bottom section of the tubular in the well and expanding the tubular to deform the sealant into a state of compressive stress while the cement can still be squeezed by the expanding tubular. The composition of the sealant is further disclosed as comprising poly (propylene oxide) diglycidyl ether and crosslinker or trimethylol propane triglycidyl ether and crosslinker, along with microsheres or a gas-generating blowing agent. |
