Thermal treatment of vegetable oil for removing water comprises allowing the oil from the storage vessel into instantaneous water heater, heating the oil at above 100[deg]C, allowing the heated oil into a storage container with low pressure, where the water present passes into the gaseous condition, collecting the water-free oil with inert gas, cooling and storing, where the entire procedure is carried out preferably in the absence of light. Thermal treatment of vegetable oil for removing water comprising allowing the oil from the storage vessel into instantaneous water heater under nitrogen, heating the oil at above 100 (preferably 103-105)[deg]C, allowing the heated oil into a storage container with low pressure, where the water present passes into the gaseous condition so that it can be removed, collecting the water-free oil with inert gas (preferably nitrogen), cooling and storing, where the entire procedure is carried out preferably in the absence of light. An independent claim is also included for the vegetable oil obtained by the method.
