PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing apparatus of a good productivity for highly precisely drawing lines on a medium. SOLUTION: Printing is carried out to the medium 80 by discharging ink of an ultraviolet curing type to the medium 80 adhered on a table 36 by a printing head 10a of a head part 10. At the same time, the ink is hardened by illuminating a printing part immediately after printing with ultraviolet rays. The operation of closing an irradiation opening 24 of an ultraviolet irradiation device 16 by a shutter 28 is started during a movement while the ultraviolet irradiation device 16 passes a printing region and returns to a head standby position. The medium adhesion action of the table 36 is released. The irradiation opening 24 is opened by the shutter before the movement of the head part 10 is started and the ultraviolet irradiation device 16 enters the printing region.
