The invention relates to a piece which is intended for use in games. The inventive piece comprises a body which enables the piece to rest on other pieces without requiring said pieces to be fitted together. The body of the piece is formed by a pair of prism-shaped, flat-based heads (12) which are connected by means of a preferably-cylindrical rod (15) which is equipped with a lateral projection (19) such that the piece can be gripped more easily and rotated. The faces of the heads (12) are also provided with projections (19) or deformations (18).
