<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable inverter performing stabilized control by suppressing oscillation in motor torque and current through simple arrangement and control thereby preventing step-out, and to provide a small and highly reliable compressor driver and chiller/air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 7 for controlling an inverter circuit 2 converting DC power into AC power detects the phase difference between AC voltage and AC current and calculates a duty reference value dependent on the error between the information of AC voltage/AC current phase difference thus detected and target phase difference information. Furthermore, oscillation component of the phase difference between AC voltage and AC current is detected and correction amount of r.p.m. of a synchronous motor 1 is calculated based on the oscillation component. Based on the duty reference value thus calculated and a corrected r.p.m. command value, a PWM waveform signal is formed and delivered to the inverter circuit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
