DRIVING OPERATION ASSISTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation assisting device for a vehicle informing a driver of the surrounding circumstances of own vehicle in an easy-to-see state even under performing automatic control of keeping in a lane.

SOLUTION: The driving operation assisting device for a vehicle calculates an output assist torque necessary for automatic control of keeping a lane to run own vehicle keeping within a lane based on the deviation from the center of own vehicle at the predetermined forward distance. An assist motor controls own vehicle behavior by controlling a steering torque in accordance to the output assist torque, and calculates the rotation angle of the right and left side parts of a seat 70 depending on the output assist torque to inform the driver of the status of the control of keeping a lane by turning the right and left side parts and giving pressures to the driver.
